Which Flute should I buy?

I am a beginner and I would like to buy a flute. However, I am confused which is the best flute to start with.

Should I go for C Scale or G Scale flutes?

going with C or B flutes shouls work for begineers. G sounds like, it sticks with upper notations and starting with C might be a good idea. If you are a singer, and your preferred key is in C or D, then stick with that flute.
